Back in the late '90s, I got my first computer (thanks Mom & Dad). Windows 95 and a whopping 16MB of RAM! Since then, rarely a day has passed without me being in front of a screen. An education in computer science seemed the obvious choice. But Java or C++ didn't exactly make my heart skip a beat. When I discovered PHP, then ASP.NET and then Ruby on Rails, I knew I found my path.
Fast forward 15 or so years, I've done remote work for many agencies, consulted for startups and I am lucky to work with some of the most talented people in the field to create digital products. I am organized, focused on the task at hand, self motivated and persistent in developing a given task. I have good communication skills, I'm easy to work with, driven and enthusiastic.
My focus these days is split between building products and leading projects as a contractor and making it as an entrepreneur. Together with my friend Matt of the FutureMe fame, we built The Parent Bank to teach our kids about money. If you've got little ones aged 7 to 16, give it a whirl — it's free! Currently, I'm in the process of bootstrapping Lo Presento, a service for Spanish legal providers that aims to save them time and money one lawsuit at a time.
When I'm not at the computer, I'm usually hanging out with my lovely wife, kids, and friends in beautiful Mijas, Andalusia, Spain. Even tech wizards need a break to enjoy the real world. Or so my wife says 😘
